Andrew Davidson has been a parent in the Chapel Hill Carrboro City School system for five years. During that time, he has twice been elected to the School Improvement Team at Frank Porter Graham Elementary, where he served as an at-large representative from June 2010 to May 2012, and the committee chair from June 2012 until May 2013. On the district level, Davidson has served on the Technology Advisory Council since June 2012.
In his professional life, Davidson is a an Information Technology specialist with more than 15 years of experience in his field. He currently works as a Data Architect for Verizon’s Global Cloud Computing division, in Cary. He received his undergraduate education from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, where he was a double major in economics and political science. He lives in Chapel Hill with his wife, the food writer Kelly Alexander, and their two sons, Louis and Dylan, who both attend Seawell Elementary School.
